With a heritage that encompasses the past two hundred years, Jolliff UMC has faithfully ministered to the needs of its church family and community around the world, always striving to be the embodiment of Jesus Christ to all who have entered the church, expressed a need, or who have sought "the Christ's way." Therefore, we pledge our Christ-like support to each other, to our church, our pastor and programs, our community, our country and our world. We acknowledge this pledge to be our sincere endeavor to enter into a faith journey with our Lord that we may truly be the "body of Christ" at Jolliff UMC. As disciple of Jesus Christ, we, as a community of faith, will be in servanthood to our friends, neighbors and our fellowmen and women as we proclaim the "Good News" of our Savior. Through piety, prayer and the presence of the Holy Spirit the congregation of Jolliff UMC will fulfill its promise of prayer, presence, gifts and service to the honor and glory of God through the saving grace of Jesus Christ. |
