Outreach Ministries

Senior & Disabled Health & Wellness Program—
Wednesdays & Fridays, 10 AM to 2 PM .
- This program is offered FREE OF CHARGE to any & all seniors and disabled
persons in the community. The program will include Sit & Fit Exercise sessions, Arts &
Crafts, Computer classes, Health, Nutrition & Self-Awareness Presentations and
referrals for services. Partially funded by the NYC Department for the Aging.
The program is open to seniors and disabled persons of any age.
Tutorial Program held on Tuesday & Thursday afternoons, 3:00 PM to 6:00
PM. Serving students from Early Elementary thru 8th Grade.
FREE Justice for Our
Neighbors Immigration Clinic—held on the 2nd
Monday of most months.
Food Pantry—Tuesdays, 2 PM—5 PM
- Volunteers from our church distribute food packages to those in need.
Anyone who needs food is welcome. We also invite anyone who is willing
to help to volunteer.
- The program provides fruits, vegetables
and non-perishable foods to people from the Bedford-Stuyvesant community every
Tuesday afternoon.
- Provides clothing to clients as they come
to receive food.

Soup Kitchen—Thursdays, 12:30 PM
- Every week, volunteers form our church, and some of our sister churches
work to feed the hungry in out community in the name of Jesus Christ. We
invite anyone who is in need, or wishes to join us in service.
- This ministry serves approximately 200
people monthly.
- We provide hot meals for any person who
walks through our doors on Thursday afternoons.
- Attendance increases later during each
month when clients’ subsidies and payments are running low.
- Refers clients to appropriate social
services and agencies as necessary.
Summer Vacation Bible School, 10 AM to 2 PM. Weekdays during the months of
July and August.
- Our Vacation Bible School operates for a month (July 9th
through August 3rd) in the summer, serving
children up to age 12. Bible Studies, Math, Reading, Music, Arts & Crafts, Fun
Exercises, Trips and more are included in the 4-week program. This program is also used to give our youth work
experience and spiritual growth during the summer season as youth workers also
participate in their own level of the program. This year, the theme is "Gospel
Express: God's Celebration Train." We offer this program at a modest fee of
$60.
