United Methodist Men

"Every Man Shares in Evangelism, Mission, and Spiritual Life"

The mission of the United Methodist Men is to assist men to know Jesus Christ, to serve Him, to grow spiritually and seek daily to do his will. The United Methodist Men of John Wesley serve in our church in many ways, including preparing meals for most of our church functions, sponsoring fundraising events and projects including our highly successful "Love Offering Fundraiser" where people donate $1 per day and/or their loose change in a given month to the church on the fourth Sunday of each month.

The United Methodist Men of John Wesley sponsor a Bible Study & Breakfast on the second and fourth Sundays of each month from September through May. The Bible Study is usually led by our pastor, Rev. Pauline Wardell-Sankoh. Also the Men hold an Annual Communion Breakfast on the first Sunday in June every year.

Also, the Men have now expanded their ministry by sponsoring Boy Scouts & Girl Scouts in our church, and taking an active role the Scouting Committee to serve as an oversight & support group for those ministries within our church.
