
Linda Campbell-Marshall became pastor of the John Street United Methodist Church on July 1, 2000.
Campbell-Marshall was born and raised in Bangor, ME.
She graduated from University of Maine at Orono with a Bachelor of Arts
in English and minor in History. She entered seminary at the Bangor
Theological Seminary and received her Master of Divinity Degree in 1975. A rotary
scholar, Campbell-Marshall studied Weslyan history for a year at King College,
University of London.
Campbell-Marshall was appointed to the Peoples UMC in Union, ME where she served from 1976-1985, and Brunswick UMC, where
she served until 1992. She then served as District Superintendent for central Maine.
In 2005, Campbell-Marshall received the prestigious Ziegler Award for Excellence in Preaching.
