Our local unit has four smaller groups, called circles, which meet monthly. All four circles come together for a general meeting and luncheon on the second Thursday of each month. The mission of this organization is to support and provide services to women and children. Donations are made on behalf of this group to local and national charities. These circles provide health kits, school kits, layette kits, and sewing kits for mission projects. Funds are raised through the annual Bazaar, the rummage sale, and other occasional events. All women of the church are invited to participate, and membership in the church is not required.United Methodist Men (UMM)The United Methodist Men do not meet regularly, but have a lot of fun cooking and serving their annual Shrove Tuesday Pancake Dinner the evening before Ash Wednesday, The Easter morning Breakfast, and parking cars during the Eastern Idaho State Fair in September. They provide a scholarship each year to a student in technical/vocational courses. |
