An Admin Council meeting was held 2-24-02 for the Jrm Methodist
Church. Seven members were in attendance.
Trustees: We heard that the parsonage has a new stove and some
new electrical wiring. If you wish for more detail call Carl Nellis.
Finances: The gas bill is down by $90 thanks to the new system.
We are just meeting our needs financially.
PPR: They met and changed the custodian salary to an hourly wage,
Congregational Care: After the Easter Season they will be planning
the annual birthday party and would like some input as to what the people
want. Military people will be included in the “cards” list.
Education: The older youth are using the Internet lessons as
a guide. We still pray that someday we will have children here.
Worship: A potluck will be held on Good Friday and a banner for
Easter is being made.
Methodist Men: A breakfast next Sunday will be held at the church
with Scott Hyder speaking to the group.
Spud Booth: They have turned in requests to the Fair Board to
increase the menu. There is concern about the grease that will be necessary
to cook the fries.
Kimbrow: There will be a survey taken during the church services
on March 17th and the groups of 15 will be assigned to develop a 3-year
plan for our church. These groups will meet for 8 sessions to discuss
many aspects of our future as a church. March 10th there will be
a training meeting for the groups.
