Jefferson Avenue United Methodist Church

At Jefferson Avenue, we believe that God is the Creator of all things and He created the people of this world in His image. We believe that God the Father sent His Son, our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, into the world as an atoning sacrifice so that all might be saved. Jesus' death upon the cross at Calvary was the ultimate price He paid for the sins of all.

We believe that the path to Heaven and Salvation is through the Blood of Jesus Christ. By acknowledging Jesus as Lord, through the Grace of God, one achieves the forgiveness of sins and the gift of Salvation.

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God. In the Bible God, and those He sent, reveal His teachings and laws as a gift to mankind.

We believe in the Power of the Holy Spirit.

We believe in the Power of Prayer. Through Prayer, we commune with Our Lord to give Him thanks for His Blessings and seek His direction. At Jefferson Avenue, we believe in the Healing Power of Prayer for infirmities, both physical and spiritual.

All are Welcome here at Jefferson Avenue United Methodist Church. We invite anyone who seeks to know God better through Prayer and Worship to join us each and every Sunday morning.
