Parish-Wide Ash Wednesday And Holy Week Services

Please come together with persons from all three churches for these special services during Lent and Holy Week:

Ash Wednesday—February 9th 7:00 at Stuart-Mt. Vernon

Holy Thursday—March 24th 6:30 at Menlo. Eat a meal and share the Last Supper together around the tables.

Good Friday—March 25th 7:30 at Stuart-Mt. Vernon. Remember Jesus’ last hours. (volunteers needed for drama)




Savior On A Cross

Lenten Study

A Bible study entitled “Savior on a Cross” is being offered during Lent. This seven-week study, led by Pastor Kathy, is being offered at two different times, so choose the time that is most convenient.

During the day:

Tuesday afternoons at 1:30 at the Willows from February 8th through March 22nd.

In the evening:

Thursday February 10th at 7:30 (due to Ash Wednesday service on the 9th.) and then Wednesday evenings at 7:30 from February 16th through March 23rd at the Stuart-Mt. Vernon church.

Put in on your calendars and start inviting your friends. Stuart-Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church will be hosting an 8-week study written by Adam Hamilton entitled:

Making Love Last a Lifetime: Biblical Perspectives on Love, Marriage and Sex

This is a study for both singles and couples that explores such topics as:

  • What Men Wish Women Knew About Men
