Immanuel Ministry
Immanuel is family. A sense of rootlessness often invades our scattered lives, a sense of being cut off from a community of nurture. When Mom and Dad, the grandparents and the children are spread to the four corners, it's one of the promises of the Gospel that there is a place to come home to -- and a person, Jesus Christ.
For over five generations Immanuel has been just such a home. We know how to care for one another in Jesus' name. And in this new age, when our neighborhood is changing, we are discovering how to offer a place of sanctuary and acceptance to a whole new generation. Immanuel is a part of the Brookfield-Immanuel Charge.
We are "small," in that we are intimate. We are "traditional" in that we honor our past as much as we value the future. You're not likely to catch Immanuel doing something new just because it's "new;" you're more apt to find us trying to pass on an old, old story in a way that speaks to new ears and a new set of neighbors.
We welcome any who care to become a part of Christ's extended family.
