Text Box: Pastor’s Message

Welcome to Irvington United Methodist Church. You will find a warm, friendly congregation waiting to extend a right hand of fellowship to all persons. We come together to hear the Word of God through scripture, music and the spoken word. We go to share the Good News in deeds of love and service.
We would love to see you join us for our morning worship service every Sunday at 11:00 a.m. and our Sunday school class at 10:00 a.m. We also extend a welcome to have you join our Bible Study conducted by Reverend Charles Dameron every Tuesday from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Mission Statement

We are the body of Christ, which seeks to share the good news of Jesus Christ with all people. Collectively as a church, we respond to the call of Jesus to go into the world and make disciples of all men and to be a witness for God to all people as the Holy Spirit leads us.
As Christians, we strive to be conformed to the likeness of Christ by the renewing of our minds through the reading and hearing of God’s Word.
Our desire is to be a people of faith who are doers of the Word, not just hearers only.

Our Goals as a Church Family

To be a people of Bible study and worship of the Triune God.
To grow our church physically and spiritually by sharing God’s love to those both inside and outside of our church.
To be involved in local ministries which reach out to hurting people.
To heed the call to missions by paying our apportionments each year.
To be involved in spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ through our connections within the United Methodist Church.
To be united in all our efforts for the Kingdom of God [Mark 3:25]. Jesus said, “And if a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand.”
