Shaking hands are Gene Nelson of Rowley (member of the board of directors of Partners in Development) and missionary, Charlie Kilgour of  Ipswich.   Both are members of the United Methodist Church of Ipswich.  Charlie will be making a trip to Guatemala from April 19-26 as part of a team of volunteers with Partners in Development.

Partners In Development, Inc. (PID) was founded in 1990 by James and Gale Hull of Ipswich, Massachusetts as a Christian service organization committed to the education and economic advancement of the Third-World poor.   Partners In Development, Inc. works in direct partnership with the poor through their national overseas staff.    PID provides material, financial, and educational resources, which enables the poor to construct and implement their own programs for development.

Donations to help pay for Charlie's trip can be made during Coffee Hour after Sunday service (10-11 am) from now until Easter.   Or you can mail your check to the United Methodist Church of Ipswich, 31 N. Main Street, Ipswich, MA 01938.
