July 22-26, 2006, Hurrican Response. Work in the long-term recovery phase, drywalling, painting and finishing work.

Corning, Iowa

September 8-9, 2006, Mercer Center UMC. MUMMS Project. Paint outside of church (2505 250th Street, Corning, IA). Directions: Five miles east of Corning on Highway 34; turn south on Orange Avenue 2 1/2 miles (rural water tower 1/2 mile from church).

Mexico

January 2007, trip is in the planning stages.

Eleuthera, Bahamas

January 20 to February 2, 2007, Medical/Construction. Group Orientation is October 28 in Des Moines. Work projects will vary in nature but will basically be construction. This will include repairing floors, roofs, doing major/minor plumbing, electrical work, framing, working with dry wall, tiling and window replacement is needed along with TLC. Volunteers will organize a mini-vacation Bible school. A small medical team is also being recruited.

St. Petersberg, Russia

June 29-July 16, 2007. Experience two weeks of working at orphanage #53 in St. Petersberg. Passport and visa required. Approximate cost, contingent upon air fair, $2,850 - $3,000.

Chatham, Illinois

September 23-27, 2007, Midwest Mission Distribution Center. Work includes preparing and inspection of kits, sewing, woodworking workshop, equipment testing (lawn mowers to computers), preparing kits and various donations for international shipment, construction of permanent buildings, building maintenance.
