AFSC is now a partner in Chicago Amplified, a Web-based audio archive filled with diverse lectures, conversations, panel discussions, forums and other educational events sponsored by community organizations and institutions throughout the Chicago region and presented on the web for audio streaming or download.
You can hear the first two AFSC programs by clicking on http://www.chicagopublicradio.org/Program_AMP_Archive.aspx, then go to the pull down menu for Partners and select American Friends Service Committee. There you will find a program on the Humanitarian Crisis in Palestine and also the program from the opening reception for Dreams and Nightmares, our Iraq exhibit. The Dreams and Nightmares reception features Iraqi Raed Jarrar and Iraqi-American Dahlia Wasfi, speaking about current conditions in Iraq.
Chicago Public Radio will continue to record our public events and post them here.
