Ingleside United Methodist Preschool was established in 1984 to serve parents and children throughout the Central Georgia area. From small beginnings with just one 3 year old school class, Ingleside United Methodist Preschool has grown to accommodate two 2 year old classes, two 3 year old classes and one 4 year old class. The 2 year old and 3 year old classes meet two days a week with an optional Friday class for the 2 and 3 year olds. The 4 year old class meets five days a week.

Ingleside United Methodist Church enjoys a wonderful reputation in the community for a very strong Preschool Program thanks in large part to the loving, experienced and well educated staff that teaches the children good Christian values, along with basic skills. The preschool is also well supported by the church and the preschool board, which consists of the church pastor, several church members and preschool director.

The Director of our preschool and 4K Teachers Aid, Marilyn Malloy, was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, graduated from Cross Keys High School, and attended Georgia State University. She moved to Macon with her husband Frank in May 1982. Marilyn has worked with the Ingleside United Methodist Preschool for twenty two years, including the last seven as Director. Our preschool has an outstanding reputation in Macon, and most of the credit goes to Marilyn and her staff!

4K Teacher


 

  Beth Hughes, our 4K Teacher. Beth has twenty two years experience teaching at Ingleside UMC Preschool. Beth is also a long time member at Vineville UMC. She also has a Bachelor Of Arts Degree in Early Childhood from Wesleyan College.


Our 3K teacher, Susan Abernathy, has a Bachelor Of Arts Degree from Wesleyan College in Early Childhood. Susan has 18 years teaching experience. Six years with first grade and 12 years preschool 3K with Bibb County Public Schools. Susan has also been a member of Martha Bowman UMC for 17 years.

3K Teachers Aid


 

  Rhonda Moody, Our 3K Teachers Aid, has an Associates Degree as a Lab Technician from Glenwood Paramedical. Rhonda has been a member of Ingleside UMC for twenty two years. She has been teaching in the Ingleside UMC Preschool nineteen years.

Our 2K teacher, Monica Fenimore, has a Bachelor Of Music Degree from Mercer University. Monica has ten years teaching experience. Monica joined us in August, 2007, and we are proud that she is a part of our professional team.

  Becky Kinnebrew, Our 2K Teachers Aid. Becky has a Bachelor Of Science Degree from Clemson University in Marketing. Becky Joined us in August, 2007, and we are proud to have her as part of our wonderful Preschool program.
