Our vision for this church, what we believe that God is calling the members of Ingleside UMC to be and do, is to be (1) faithful and obedient to our Lord and to our Wesleyan heritage; (2) truthful with and supportive of our members; and (3) inviting toward and servants of our neighbors and our community.

     Our mission as members of Ingleside UMC, under the lordship of Jesus Christ and the leadership of the Holy Spirit, is to make disciples. We remember the challenge of our Lord: "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I as with you always, to the end of the age."  --Mathew 28:19-20

      As members of Ingleside UMC, we covenant with God and with one another, by our prayers, our presence, our gifts, and our service, to implement our mission and vision by emphasizing the ministries of (1) nurture--worship, education, fellowship, and stewardship; and (2) outreach--evangelism, missions, service, and witness.
