Staff / Parish Relations Committee - 2004

As we did last year we have endeavored to reduce the number of meetings by use of the telephone and e-mail.

The Staff/Parish Committee is the Personnel Committee of the Church and the liaison between the Pastor and our Congregation. In this capacity members are always available to help respond to concerns between our staff and the various committee chairs and to individual concerns.

The annual evaluation of our staff and Rev. Cheryl is taking place and I have no reason to believe that we will not strongly urge the District Superintendent to allow her to remain as our Pastor for the 2005/6 conference year. Rev. Cheryl has finished her attendance at the Academy for Spiritual Formation. This has been an important step in the Pastor’s spiritual journey and we all have benefitted

We are gratified to have such good and loyal staff. We were glad to see Jackie Vogt recover from health problems and return to continue keeping the office together. Heather Blades and all her work with our “Children of ALL ages” continues to be a blessing and her daughter Casey’s continuing good health is a pleasure for all to see. Heinzel Kunsmann continues at the piano for Adult Choir. Marjorie Shepard, faithfully appears on Sunday morning and keeps the children under control during Children’s Church. Adele Blanton who cleans up after us and during the week suffered through the construction, keeping the “white stuff” out of the floors and has settled into her “new “ building. The SPR was delighted when Emily Harvey agreed to become our Nursery Attendant and after an extended summer break, Marian Chambers returned leading our Pre-School as did our teachers Joyce Gould and Jessica Madden. We are privileged to have such a loyal and faithful staff.

Chair, Staff/Parish Committee
