Education Committee - 2004

The Education Committee facilitated the following opportunities for study, growth and fellowship - opportunities for each person to grow in the Christian faith.

Listed chronologically:

1. Da Vinci Code seminar with Dr. Paul Basset and Prof. Walt Bailey.
2. Lenten Study for Children in conjunction with the adult Lenten Study. The study was Touch the Water: Taste the Bread, led by Sheri Hooper and Marjorie Shepard.
3. Easter Bash was an intergenerational Sunday school hour on Easter morning. The lesson, led by Cindy Noll, was from Godly Play. Food, crafts, puzzles and games were enjoyed by about twenty children and adults.
4. Vacation Bible School, Hero Quest, July 18-22, 6:00-8:30 p.m. The theme each evening was based on a story from the Bible. The stories were developed through music, drama, crafts, mission projects, recreation and refreshments. More than 45 children were enrolled, many who were not attending Indian Heights.
