Rose M. Booker-Jones is Senior Pastor of Trinity United Methodist
Church, East St. Louis, Illinois of the Illinois Great Rivers Conference.
The Trinity campus is comprised of two sites, the Trinity Worship
Center and Trinity Outreach Center. Pastor Rose facilitated the
merger of three United Methodist Churches in East St. Louis, Illinois
into one thriving and growing worship community of faith. Trinity
ministers to the Metro East community by meeting the spiritual,
physical, and social needs through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Pastor Rose serves as Chair of the Illinois Great Rivers Conference
Board of Ordained Ministry and member of Connectional Table; serves
as instructor for the Conference Course of Study. She is a member
of Chair, District Eight Clergy Taskforce of East St. Louis; an
ecumenical coalition of local pastors that focuses on social justice
issues within the community.
Pastor Rose is a Kansas native, educated in the Kansas public schools;
earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management from Friends
University, Wichita, Kansas. She earned her Masters of Divinity
Degree from Southern Methodist University Perkins School of Theology,
Dallas, Texas. She completed her Doctorate of Ministry at McCormick
Theological Seminary, Chicago, Illinois. She served in the African
Methodist Episcopal Church as an Ordained Elder in the Kansas Nebraska
Conference. Pastor Rose transferred to the United Methodist Church;
served as Associate Pastor of Saint Mark United Methodist Church,
Wichita, Kansas and First United Methodist Church, Kaufman, Texas.
Pastor Rose has preached at various churches and conferences conducted
numerous workshops, consulting, and implementation of various ministries.
She knows that through the power of Jesus Christ "all things
are possible."
