KINGS KIDS AND VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL NEWS

Kings Kids Coordinator ~ Darlene Morris

Here we are getting ready for the King's Kids. We have handed out sign-up papers in the school, at Iberia. I am hoping that we have some children coming back from last year and lots of new children joining us this year. We know that when the new school opens in 2010 - 2011. King's Kids will become a time in the past. However - we are working on a plan! We want the children looking back at these days and smiling as they remember King's Kids and the fun they had here at Iberia UMC.

So parents, sign them up for a memory in time. We will pick up the children after school at 3:30pm and bring them to the church. Parents: Come at five and sign your child/children out. By signing for your child we will know they are safe in your care. No child will leave without a signature. Your children's safety is important to us. Please, Come little ones! We desire a safe and happy time for all who come.

The children will enjoy the stories of Jesus. Food is always great and the Kids will eat it up!

We are planning on helping your children to learn the names of the Bible books... some verses in the Bible, people in the Bible and the Golden Rule.

I want to give a special thanks to all the people and the others behind the scenes who donate their time, talents, and the supplies to Iberia's United Methodist Churches King's Kids! THANK YOU!

We encourage you parents to attend a church of your choice And bring your children to meet Jesus. If you do not have a church, please feel free to come to either - Iberia United Methodist Church or Sixteen United Methodist Church or our friends at the Iberia Presbyterian Church.

We are looking forward to having the King's Kids starting again on Monday the 5th of October. We will meet every Monday unless school is closed! We will end the month of March.
