Can You believe it is July. The flowers are so pretty and wow the corn IS knee high before the 4th of July in some areas. Becareful this 4th and remember those who have served this country faithfully over many years. Oh, yes, remember our forefathers came to this country to have religious freedom!
We pray each week for all people in Iberia and the world. This is a mission church. Our Mission is to reach out to those in need. I hope that those of you who do not have a church home will come and visit us. Our phone number at the church is: 419-468-2413.
Do you feel that people encourage you and you help them too?God wants us to encourage each other to faith. It dishonors God when we feed one another's fears instead of encouraging each other to trust God and to take heart. God calls us to stir each other to trust God and to have faith, the Bible says, " If we have the faith of a small mustard seed, we can move mountains!"
Fear may be one of the Enemy's most powerful strategies. Fear has a way of taking over, of causing us to doubt God, of pushing away judgment, of grabbing us by the throat and bullying us into a corner! Neither Jesus or St. Paul sidestepped the reality of evil. If we fear evil instead of God, evil has power over us.
The
Iberia church was built in 1867 and we are a host church to the Boy Scouts - Cub Scouts - Kings Kids - and the Friendship Parish Bible Studies. Once a month Iberia will host the Bloodmobile.

To help you understand my sermon better, I want you all to read Mark chapter 17." The following Sunday, as he prepared to deliver his sermon, the minister asked for a show of hands. He wanted to know how many had read Mark chapter 17. Every hand went up. The minister smiled and said, "Mark has only sixteen chapters. I will now proceed with my sermon on the sin of lying."
