Acolytes
Youth are welcome to serve as acolytes at HUMC services.  Carry the 'light' of Christ to and from our sanctuary each Sunday.  To find out more, contact Elaine Kalweit (736-9439)

Altar Guild
Help prepare the sanctuary for Sunday services.  Volunteers rotate on a monthly basis to spend an hour (or less) to post hymns, stock pew supplies, change vestry linens, etc.  Call Sandy in the Church Office for more information.

Alternative Christmas Fair
Held during the first weekend in December, this unusual
Christmas Fair provides an opportunity to support a wide variety of charities through your holiday gift giving.

Angels' Club
If you're interested in crocheting, knitting, quilting (or would like to learn), join us!  We meet every other Monday in Bovee Hall.  For further information, call Sandy Kershaw (929-5452) or Margaret Rose (929-3500).

Coffee Hour
Sign up in Bovee Hall to help with coffee hour preparation--one of our congregation's favorite activities! 

Covenant to Care
HUMC has adopted two social workers for Covenant to Care.  Leave items in the box in the Narthex. Furniture and household items are always welcome.

HUMkey Potato Booth
HUMC's ongoing fundraiser, the HUMCkey Potato Booth operates at a variety of events during the summer and fall months.  Contact Margaret Jaffer (926-0692) for more information.

HUMLine
Contribute an article or item of interest to the HUMLine Newsletter by the third Sunday of the month.  Call Sandy in the Church Office to learn more.

Kitchens of Christmas Tour
Held in conjunction with the Alternative Christmas Fair, this Tour offers a glimpse into holiday kitchens throughout our community.

Library
Help maintain HUMC's 1000+ item lending library, including books, videos, audiobooks and children's materials.  Call Sheri Szymanski (452-0177) for more information.

Men's Monthly Breakfast

HUMC men of all ages meet at DiMauro's Restaurant on River Road for breakfast at 8 a.m. on the second Saturday each month.  Don't miss this opportunity for fellowship!  Call David Miccinello (929-8256) for more information.

Midnight Run
HUMC participates in Midnight Run each year.  Our next run is scheduled for October 14th. Clothing, toiletries and food donations are needed and may be left in the box in Bovee Hall.  Contact Darlene Reilly-Lengyl (261-2436) for more information.

Prayer Chain
Our church wide prayer chain is a source of strength during trying times.  Contact Lillian Molnar (944-9140) with prayer requests or to join the chain.  

Spooner House Meal
Each month, HUMC provides a meal for the residents of Spooner House shelter.  Contact Louise Ryon (944-0265) for more information.

Music Ministries
-Senior Choir meets Thursday evenings (7:30pm)Sept.-June.  New voices are always welcome, no experience necessary.  See our Organist, Katarina Boudreaux, for more information.
-Junior Choir children and teens, ages 8 and up are welcome to sing for special services and programs throughout the year.  See our Organist, Katarina Boudreaux, for more information.
-Cherub Choir for children in kindergarten through second grade offer special music throughout the year.  See our Organist, Katarina Boudreaux, for more information.
-Grace Chime Bell Choir meets Wednesday evenings (6:30pm) Sept.-June and offers angelic sound on the first Sunday of each month.  New ringers are always welcome, all you need to know how to do is count!  Contact Cindy Savoie (926-9540) to find out more.

United Methodist Women
UMW meets monthly for fellowship and to learn more about missions projects in our neighborhood and around the world.  Contact the Sandy in the Church office for more information.

Ushers and Greeters
Help welcome worshippers on Sunday mornings with a bulletin and a smile!  Contact Chuck Schif (929-7252) to help out.

Valley Food Pantry
The food bank is always seeking non-perishable food items (canned goods, pasta, powdered milk, peanut butter, etc.).  Drop items into the food bank barrel in the Narthex.
