United Methodist Men (UMM)

The United Methodist Men's group at HUMC  is open to men from the United Methodist Church, as well as the community. This group is for men who have a desire to come together in Christian fellowship with other men. All ages and several denominations are represented. The Men's Group meets on the first Saturday of each month, usually at 7:30 a.m. for breakfast and a short meeting, and usually adjourns between 8:30 and 9:00 unless a project is scheduled for that day. A devotion is shared, followed by a short business meeting and planning session. Most projects are directly linked to the upkeep of the United Methodist Church and include cleaning the church windows, raking leaves, general repair and replacement projects. Projects may also reflect needs of the community. The atmosphere is very casual and all men are invited to attend.
