Church Apportionments
Apportionments are a portion of congregational giving that goes to the general church to support programs on a national and international level, which have been agreed upon by lay and clergy delegates of General Conference. We share the cost of these ministries, with each local church being responsible for contributing a fair portion or "apportionment."

Margaret Farnsworth  
Prayers and financial support are given to Margaret and her mission work in Kazakhstan.

Homer Churches Cooperating
HUMC is a member of Homer Churches Cooperating which serves  local family and individuals when needed.

Funeral Dinners
Funeral Dinners can be arranged for church members. The families are lifted up in prayer at this time

Meal Ministry
Meals can be arranged to be taken to persons/families  who are experiencing times of hardship or a family that has had a new baby. Families are also prayed for at this time.

Card Ministry
All members of the church family receive birthday and anniversary cards from the church family. People are lifted up in prayer on these special days.

Cookie Ministry
New visitors to HUMC are taken cookies sometime during the week. The visitors are also lifted up in prayer.
