In the name of Christ, we welcome you and invite you to return again to worship with us here at the Hamilton United Methodist Church.
To better suit your spiritual needs, we offer two type of worship service each Sunday. The most visible difference between the contemporary and traditional services involves the music. The contemporary service features newer contemporary music, which is accompanied by a live band including piano, musical instruments and singers. Music is generally not provided, but the words are printed in the bulletin and projected onto a large screen. The traditional service features hymns from the United Methodist Hymnal, which is accompanied by a pipe organ played by our organist. During choir season (September through May) an adult choir presents an anthem most Sundays. Soloist and small singing groups are often featured. Our children's choirs, pre-K through elementary ages, sing in both services about once a month.
As pastor of the earliest ongoing congregation in this beautiful area, I welcome you to this warm, friendly, hard-working fellowship of God in Jesus the Christ. We are concerned about both the individual and your needs, and about society and its needs. We believe our program and attitude reflect both. Our congregation is truly a living and vital one trying to find and to follow God's will in matters of worship, education, fellowship, witness and service.

Additionally, child care is provided for both services. Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month, in addition to other special Sundays.
Hearing devices for the hearing-impaired, and large-print hymnals and Bibles for the visually impaired are available. Please see the ushers for assistance.
Be sure to write your name and address in the red attendance pads found at the end of the pews, and indicate any ways that we may be of help to you.
