Arrival
![]() |
Arriving early Thursday morning, we quickly registered and found our dorm room. Just like being back in college! This year the women's shower room was close by and had hot water, much better than the cold showers two years ago, or the shower room in the other end of the dorm, as last year. Our first event was the Opening Worship and Collection of Covenant Mission Offering in the Chapel. Our Bishop, Jonathan Keaton was preaching; his sermon entitled 'Giving That Is More'. Worship at Conference is always stimulating, and this was no exception! The large choir directed by Mr. Chris Hall, and the great organist, Mrs. Doris Hall, his wife. |
Laity Orientation Sessions

Laity Orientation Sessions are two fold. New representatives receive the basic instructions, while those with previous experience attend an advanced session. Here is where one finds out what subjects will be addressed in the business sessions, and a little history behind them. The prodecures required to speak, make additions or corrections, and voting are discussed in these sessions |
