Welcome to the home page for Chapelwood United Methodist Women.

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

MEMBERSHIP

The women of Chapelwood United Methodist Church have been active since 1949 and are currently fulfilling their purpose with nine multi-generational circles, which meet faithfully once a month, September through May, on varied days and times to accommodate busy schedules. Our special emphasis is women, youth and children. We support mission activities and partnerships in thousands of communities in every state of the United States and in over 50 countries around the world. One becomes a member by expressing a desire to belong and to participate in the global missions of the church through United Methodist Women.
