The
Hopwood United Methodist Church has started a benevolent fund and a committee
has been appointed to oversee this fund.
The committee members are as follows:
Harold (Butch) Conn; Nancy Wolfe; Harry Brownfield; Retha Jordan; and
Cindi Smith.
The
funds will be used for emergency situations to help, first, members of our
church and, second, families of the Hopwood community.
Any
references or questions should be addressed to the pastor of the church or to
the chairman of the committee, Harold (Butch) Conn. Please determine before you make a recommendation whether or not
this is a true need.
Donations
would be greatly appreciated. Donations
may be given to any of the committee members.
Also, a basket will be placed outside the sanctuary doors for donations
to this fund.
In God’s Service
