Fall Schedule:

Sunday Mornings:

Sunday School at 9:30AM for 7th-12th grades
7th-8th Graders meet in the Cornerstone Café (lower level youth space)
9th-12th Graders meet in the upper level youth space

Sunday Evenings:

6-6:40pm - Worship Team practice in the Sanctuary, Basketball in the FLC, hip-hop dance in the upper level space and games/hangout in the Cornerstone Café (downstairs youth space) - you may join any of these groups!

6:45-7:15pm - large group gathering for ALL youth in the Cornerstone Café with live music

7:15-8pm - Small Groups - All youth meet in small groups to chat about their week, discuss the topic for the night, share joys and concerns and pray for one another.

Bible Study

A small group meets at Johnson and Christyn’s home (13 Lisa Dr., Thorndale) every Thursday from 7:00-8:30pm. All youth are invited to catch up your friends, chat about your week and learn from God’s word. Talk with Johnson if you have any questions.

Other Events and Activities:

South Africa - Information and application for the youth spots (those traveling without parents) on the Intergenerational Mission Trip to South Africa are due back by Oct. 28. If youth are planning to attend with a parent, please follow the guidelines mentioned in the bulletin under "South Africa Missions".

The Revolve Tour - This is a Women of Faith event for girls and it will be held November 2-3 at the Wachovia Center. The cost is $57 a person ($49 for tickets + $8 for lunch). To sign up, please give a check (made out to Hopewell UMC) to Jen (mailbox B2) - this will confirm your place. Space is filling up quickly! More information about the schedule, when we are leaving, etc. will be given out soon. Visit www.revolvetour.com for more information on speakers and music for the event.

Youth Rally - We are returning to the weekend-long youth rally in Ocean City, MD, January 4-6, 2008. This is an event sponsored by the Peninsula-Delaware Conference of the UMC and about 4000 other youth and adults from churches around the Northeast will be in attendance. Commitment cards need to be left in Jen’s mailbox by the church office. There are 35 spaces available and will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.
