I once asked my father how I should choose a
'home church' and he told me that you should first look for a
church that is 'close to home'. I took this advice when we moved
to this area. I noticed Hope Church nearby and decided to try it
out. From our first visit I felt a sincere welcoming atmosphere.
We found Pastor Les to be a warm, approachable Pastor and we
enjoy the sermons very much. Because we have felt a connection
with the church we now attend regularly each Sunday. In
addition, our whole family enjoys the Sunday School classes, and
as adults, we look forward to the discussions in our class. I
guess you can say we were surprised to actually enjoy our 'own'
class and find ourselves making reference to what was discussed
throughout the week.
