Preschool News Well, summer is in full swing! The children are having a lot of fun spending time outside. They love to play in the sand and also splashing in the water. I am getting things ready for the next year of preschool. We are full again this year. We have some new staff starting in the fall. I will introduce them in the next news letter. In June MDO talked about bugs. They made lady bugs, caterpillars, and made gifts for Father’s Day. They also had water play days at the end of the month. The weather certainly was hot enough for it. Things are a little more relaxed over the summer and it should be a lot of fun. In July MDO will continue with their summer theme. This month they will focus on the ocean and the beach. They will be doing things with sand and will be talking about the animals that live in the water. The Bible theme for this month is “God and Jesus are Strong.” They will be talking about how God created the world and about the different miracles Jesus performed. They are also planning to have water play days again this month. The Preschool and Mother’s Day Out staff and children would like to welcome Pastor and Mrs. Garner to the church. We all look forward to getting to know you and working with you. We wish you all the best as you get settled into a new area and new church.
