Our Mission |

is to reach out to people in the name of Jesus
Christ, to relate people to God, to nurture and strengthen them in their
journey of discipleship and to send them into the world to be the church
---inviting and receiving others in the name of Jesus Christ. To meet this
mission our vision at Hope UMC is to focus all programming and
administrative efforts in showing all persons: |

We Care that people are hurting and have needs
that we can meet. We will offer them a kind word or a listening ear as
well as doing what we can to meet their physical needs. We welcome them in
to our community life as friends on the same journey. |

We Share what we have found in Jesus with
others who do not know him. We share from the bounty God has provided to
love the hungry, the infirm and the lonely. We seek to share our common
need to worship God. |

We Prepare all ages to become disciples of
Jesus Christ through training, empowering and motivating people to use the
gifts God has given them. We match believer's gifts with ministry areas
and guide their efforts to work in a manner that honors God, draws them
closer to our Creator and inspires all to seek fulfilled involvement. |
