Ministry in Subirana

Subirana is located in the Department of Yoro, about a 2-1/2 hour drive into the mountains, east of San Pedro Sula. The 30 minutes of the drive is on a climbing dirt road. Subirana is a small community with electrical and water service. There is very limited telephone service.

The 25-member congregation here is currently constructing a sanctuary, Sunday School building and parsonage on a site next to the main community central square.  The congregation is currently without a pastor.  Raphael Murillo offers his leadership as a lay preacher.

This congregation is in the formative stage where strengthening the church community is the primary focus of ministry.
