Area of Honduras:  5 miles southwest of the town of Tocoa (toh-COH-ah), in the department of Colón (koh-LOHN).  The neighborhood is called Colonia Metodista , because many of the houses were built after Hurricane Mitch with UMCOR funds.

Travel time from San Pedro Sula airport:  5 - 6 hours by bus

Accommodations:

Teams stay in the parsonage which is next door to the church building.  There are 2-3 sleeping rooms and 2 bathrooms with showers which are shared by team members. Bedding and towels are provided but you might want to bring your own pillow or pillow cover. Meals are prepared by local cooks. Electricity is the same as the US—110.
