David Ernesto Sardiñas Iglesias

   

          David serves as a missionary with the United Methodist Mission Church of Honduras.  He, along with his wife, Doralbis Hidalgo , is assigned to serve the two Methodist Mission churches in Talanga , Honduras .

          David studied agricultural engineering with a specialty in cattle genetics in Las Villas, Cuba , at the Central University .  Before coming to Honduras , David was the administrator of the Elder Home of the Methodist Church of Cuba.  Prior to that he worked as an agricultural engineer on a ranch with more than 8000 head of Brahman cattle.

          In the church, David has served as a Diaconal minister, local preacher, and facilitator at the Christian Family Outreach Center .  He has served as Lay Leader of the Central District of the Methodist Church of Cuba, and as a member of the Council of Ministries of the Methodist Church in Cuba . 

          David and Doralbis have two grown children.  David Manuel is an independent artist, married, and living in Havana , Cuba .  Daniel Alberto lives with his parents in Talanga.   David’s parents are Manuel Sardiñas and Dr. Elina Iglesias who reside in Cuba .  David is a member of the Marianado Methodist Church in Havana , Cuba .
