The Rev. Doralbis Hidalgo Ricardo
serves as a missionary with the United Methodist Mission Church
of Honduras. She, along with
her husband, David Sardiñas, is assigned to serve as pastor of the two

Rev. Hidalgo is a graduate of the

She is a graduate of the United Methodist summer Course of
Studies at Garrett Evangelical Seminary in

Illinois
, competing six summer
sessions.
Rev. Hidalgo has served as pastor of the
Methodist
Churches
in Abreus and four
missions in
Cienfuegos
,
Cuba
; the
San Juan
de los Years y
Cifuentes Churches as well as the
Manicaragua
Church
in
Villa Clara,
Cuba
.
She has been an itinerant Elder since 2001, and Director of the
Noemí Deulofeu Nursing Home of the
Methodist
Church
in
Havana
,
Cuba
, from 1993 through
2003. Her most recent
positions were as Superintendent of the Havana District of the Methodist
Church in Cuba, and President of the Board of Directors of the
Theological Evangelical Seminary in Matanzas, Cuba.
Other responsibilities in the church have included being a member
of the Council of Ministries of the
Methodist
Church
in
Cuba
since 1990.
She has served as a Sunday school teacher, camp chaplain, and
national advisor to the Methodist Secondary League, directing the
national work and annual camps.
Rev. Hidalgo and David have grown children.
David Manuel is an independent artist, married, and living in
Havana
,
Cuba
.
Daniel Alberto lives with his parents in Talanga.
Doralbis is an Elder of the Annual Conference of the Methodist
Church of Cuba.
