People and Events

The purpose of the Honduras Consultation was and is to:

	Support the church of Honduras spiritually and financially in their basic service and witness
	Celebrate the mission opportunities for U.S. churches partnering with churches in Honduras
	Coordinate calendar of visits y UMVIM teams and Visitation Teams
	Learn from missionary representatives from Honduras about their programs and progress
	Share stories of faith by persons of faith in Honduras and from United States

Clergy and Laity who have been involved with the Honduras mission or were interested in doing so, were invited and involved in this event. The initial event was hosted by Church of the Resurrection United Methodist Church in Leawood, Kansas, on September 5-6, 2003.
