Becas Honduran Scholarship Program

Public schools in Honduras are “free”, but many children are unable to attend because of the cost of entry fees, uniforms and school supplies they are required to buy. This program will provide 100% of the total needs for children who are selected attend school for the next school year (Feb/Oct). The program is designed to help the lest fortunate get an education. Working with the pastors of the local Methodist Mission churches, applications will be prioritized based on need. The number of children who will have the opportunity to attend school this year will be based on the funds received into this program. This is a ministry that will impact these children for their entire lives.

YOU are invited to join others in this partnership with God to change lives of Honduran children. Through prayer, encouragement, and your sponsorship, Honduran children can have an education, which will help break the cycle of poverty in their country and allow these children to grow in self worth and come to know Jesus Christ as their Savior.

Children will receive the following encouragement from you and others

Prayers of pastors, partners and local church

Each child receiving a scholarship will also receive a Bible

Daily prayer with parents encouraged

Celebration at end of year with local church

Regular communication with teacher regarding grades/attendance

Financial support provided by sponsors

Supplies required throughout the school year

School required uniform and shoes, gym clothes and tennis shoes plus replacements as necessary

Registration fees and assessments during the school year

Back pack

Possible medical evaluation

End of year celebration party
