Adopt-A-Project
Adopt-A-Project is a program of the UM Mission Church in Honduras that can help meet the needs of some construction projects that are not suitable for VIM teams but are still important needs of the Mission. At times, UMVIM projects reach a final stage of construction that cannot done by volunteers. These projects can best be completed with donations of money to purchase materials and hire skilled local laborers. This is how our North American UM churches and present and former UMVIM supporters can help.
Honduran pastors will be able to participate in choosing these projects for their congregations. Pastors are the official hosts of the VIM teams and have built lasting relationships with many UM churches in the U.S. They are at the forefront of every area of ministry in the UM Mission Church in Honduras. You can help them and the churches they serve to continue to go forward making disciples of Jesus Christ and building the Kingdom of God in Honduras by adopting one of these projects. The church will be blessed and you will be blessed by God for your sacrificial gift.
You do not have to send funds for 100% of the project you choose. We invite Sunday School classes, UM Women’s groups, UM Men’s groups, Vacation Bible Schools, individuals, families, and service organizations to donate to these projects.

You can make donations in two ways:
- Give through the Advance Program of the United Methodist Church. Go to www.advancinghope.org for instructions. Designate your gift to the United Methodist Mission Church in Honduras--12928A and the Adopt a Project number. Please send an email to: metodista_honduras@yahoo.com advising us that you have made a donation.

- Send a check directly to the United Methodist Mission in Honduras at the following address:
