We're still working on the total story of what the fire on January 27, 1996 meant to our Church. Early that morning, an arsonist set fire to our Office & Children's building, totally destroying the structure and contents. The only remnant we have from that Fire is a charred scrap of paper from an old Church program that reads "Our Future is in God's Hands".
That is the story of the building fire. The rest of the story is about learning to trust our future to God's Hands, and about the Fire that grew in our congregation, and the Fire Storm of Love and Support we received from our sister Churches and Church organizations across the state and the country.

On November 16, 1997, we dedicated a new 10,000 square foot building -- Just the beginning of the story, not the end! Our Future truly is in God's Hands!
