Hello my name is Pastor Dana Carson. I am the Assistant Pastor for the First United Methodist Church in Holdrege, Nebraska. My main job is to minister to the young people of the church, or the young at heart, through many different ministries. I have over 20 years of experience with working with children/youth and have not found anything more rewarding. As we engage children in the vision of the church in "Making Disciples" and the "21st Century" we will have a stronger faith based generation in years to come. We average over 60 children in our Sunday School program on Sunday mornings, we have a After School Program called "JC & the Sonshine Kids" which has doubled over the past year. Our Sr. High Youth group meets on Wednesday evenings during the school year. The youth are becoming actively involved in the community and around the U.S. in missions, and we will be kicking off our new Middle School Youth Ministries "Wild Fire" this fall which I am very excited about.
