JoAn Mohan:

Lay Leader and Sunday School Teacher.  JoAn does whatever is needed to be done at Homer UMC.  She is the proud Grandmother  of Maddy.

Joyce Betz:

"The Elf"

Joyce has been at Homer for the past 7 years.  She does just about anything that needs to be done at the Church.  She is known for her colorful bulletin covers.  She has four children (two sons and two daughters), two grandsons and seven granddaughters.  She is semi retired and her hobbies are sewing and crafts.

Joyce says that JoAn brought her to Homer UMC and that it is "a very loving place to be."

Abraham Judisch:

Reading the scriptures.

Eileen and Lance Hislop:

Eileen: Choir, Greeter and Cleaner. 

Lance: Guitarist, PPR, Lighting, Maintenance, and whatever else needs to be done.

A neighbor invited them to Homer UMC  5 1/2 years ago and they have been attending since.  They have been married for 10 years and have six children and six grandchildren.  Lance is a draftsman who likes to fish and go to garage sales.  Eileen is an administrated assistant and likes sewing, quilting, and gardening.

They both "love" Homer Church.

Lance provides the majority of the music at Homer.

Bill Hislop:

Bill has been coming to Homer UMC for the past three years.  He is one of the Greeters.

He is retired and likes to read, walk and play cards.

Bill says that Homer UMC is "exceedingly friendly, has a wonderful pastor, good music, and a loving atmosphere."

March 16, 2008:  William R. Hislop was called home by his Lord on March 5, 2008.  He will be missed.

Mike and Kay Dailey:

Mike and Kay were married January 10, 2004.  Mike's children, Tiffany Marie and Adam Michael were received into our heavenly home on December 26,2001.  They come to Homer UMC because of the "Homer UMC Family"  and Pastor Christine's "faith in action".  "We're at home at Homer UMC."

Annah and Harold Jonsgaard:

Annah and Harold have been at Homer UMC for 37 years.

They have been married for 50 years and have three children, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

They like camping, gardening, baking and mowing the church's lawn.

Annah and Harold says that "Everybody is so friendly - it feels like family."

Maddy and Harold:
