Sandra Davis:
Lay Leader, Sunday School Teacher, Usher
and Committee Member (Ad. Council, PPR and Youth Director)
Sandra is married and has three daughters and four grandchildren. She has been at Immanuel UMC for 21 years. "Immanuel UMC is like having a second family. Everyone cares for each other in a very special way. We all nurture each other. One neat thing about Immanuel is when one of us has a baby . . it is like the baby is part of everyone's family. We all watch the children grow and learn. Children are so neat to have in church. Immanuel has a very wonderful congregation and Pastor."

Helen Flemming:
Past Lay Leader, Sunday School
Teacher, Committee Member, and organist..
She was baptized at Immanuel as a little baby and had attended the little church ever since.
Her favorite things about going to church right now are Pastor Christine and being with people who are enthusiastic about what they are doing.
Bev Bellman:
Bev has been with Immanuel since 1981. She was lay leader for nine years and delivered countless messages at the pulpit when pastors were away. She also was Ad Council secretary for twelve years. She is one of the musicians who plays the piano and organ for Immanuel's services.
Bev loves the "quiet reverence of the older people of Immanuel but also the enthusiasm and vitality of the young, including the children."
She loves welcoming people to Immanuel as they walk in.
Immanuel is blessed to have this angel in our church.
Cindy
Passow:
Handbell Choir member.
Cindy is married, she and her husband Tom, have two children. She is a Medical Assistant and her hobbies are reading and walking.
She has been at Immanuel for seven years. "What a gift in my life to have this church! I've been searching for a long time to find the right place to be and this is it!"
Warren Perry:
Sunday School Teacher.
Warren has attended church at Immanuel for over 30 years. He and his wife, Heidi, were married at Immanuel 11 years ago. They have two children, Cody and Jordan, who were also baptized here. His favorite thing about coming to church is the feeling that everyone is welcome. When people come to visit, members are courteous and encourage them to return. He also loves the fact that he can feel comfortable bringing his small children to church. The interruptions from the children don't seem to bother the members-they actually say they enjoy the noise because church isn't church without the sound of children.

Eddie Whetstone:
Eddie is the head usher of Immanuel UMC.
Louise
Hanks:
Louise is the current treasurer for Immanuel.
Her membership at Immanuel started approximately 28 years ago. She visited many churches but found our Immanuel the “friendliest.” Louise became involved and committed to many organizations such as UMW, Ad Council, the Pastor-Parish Committee, and most notably, the treasurer.
Louise is happy to have Pastor Christine as our pastor. She stated that Pastor Christine puts so much time into Immanuel and she suspects the pastor’s genuine concern for all comes from being such a good teacher. Louise said that she loves how Pastor Christine reaches out to each member as an individual and added that members feel quite important when the pastor actually calls them by their name.
She is the mother of two daughters, Cynthia and Clarice.

Betty Rasmussen:
Betty Rasmussen became a member to Immanuel almost two years ago on Easter Sunday, 2004.
Betty has become a normal sight within the walls of this sanctuary each Sunday. Her heart rejoices when she hears her favorite song, “Amazing Grace.” She especially loves to hear her two grandchildren, J.R. and Amy, sing the song.
Betty’s fondest memory of Immanuel comes from a time of hardship. She remembers very well having heart surgery not long ago and Pastor Christine coming over with a toy puppy dog gift. Betty said the gesture and meeting was…to be honest, words probably can’t give it the meaning it had, it was “just wonderful.”
Pastor Chris and Dave are like family to her. She loves them both so very much. Betty loves being a part of Immanuel, and she is brought back to her youth when she was also a member of a small church. Betty enjoys having the opportunity to know everyone in the church. There’s a sense of “closeness” as she stated.
Betty adores the bell choir and thinks the fact that such a small church could start such an ensemble is wonderful and amazing. Betty is a member of the UMW also and is never afraid to help out when needed. God just loves this lady and we are so grateful to have her amazing spirit with us in this church.
Clifford Seabern:
"Clif", has been married 43 years to his beautiful wife, Jan.
His membership here began in 1993. On the first day they attended Immanuel, Clif and Jan were welcomed with open arms by the congregation. They also heard a great sermon. Clif stated that with the two above combinations, the decision to become members at Immanuel was almost instant. Clif stated, “It was a big family just like it is now.”
He has served on the Parish-Pastor Relations Committee, Administrative Council, and the Board of Trustees. Clif can be seen almost every Sunday at the front of the church as an offering usher. Clif has also shared with Immanuel members his voice by standing in front and singing. This truly is a blessing to his fellow members and most definitely makes Pastor Christine’s heart rejoice.
Clif is very happy to have Pastor Christine representing Immanuel. He calls Pastor Christine “the little angel sent from God.” Clif says that God picked a “good Shepherd to lead us.”
