Today is Easter's Resurrection Day! No, the date is not wrong. For the follower of Jesus EVERYDAY IS EASTER! Today, every day, we celebrate the truth that sin and death are defeated Jesus Christ the Son of God conquered sin and its consequences through His sacrifice on the Cross of Calvary! Through faith in Jesus, His life, death and resurrection we too have overcome sin and death. This is Easter Resurrection Day! Because of Easter's eternal truth all of life is changed, now and forever. We will face opposition, we may struggle and even stumble from time to time; but we can not, we will not, lose unless we quit! Christ s cross and empty tomb tell us that nothing can separate us from God s love and that God will never walk away from us. So take heart, be encouraged.
