United Methodist Women

 

Meeting monthly, this ladies group is a very important arm of the church helping in many and varied ways to support the church and its entire program.  The 2009 Officers are: June Lowe, President; Elberta Billsborough, Vice-President;  Judy Reid, Secretary and Susan Folts, Treasurer.       

 

        Activities during the year comprise of the following:

·       Pledge to missions

·       Secret Pal gifts

·       Easter Candy sales

·       Easter baskets given to residents at a nursing home facility

·       Preparing and Serving for the Commander’s Dinner at the American Legion

·       Halloween Candy given to children through the Hinsdale Heritage Days Committee

·       Missionary donations made in December

·       Food items, cookies and candy given at Christmas

·       Provide funerals dinners

·       Cards of all kinds are available to purchase
