Laity Sunday

Joanna Good, Lay Leader, delivering a message to the young people about showing love by sharing. She used a large basket of apples with many varieties. As you can see she had their attention as she spoke softly and kindly with them.

Also, Suzanne Brophy is at the lectern reading the Gospel lesson from Luke 18:1-8.

Lay Leader, Dr. Joanna Good offered Thoughts on Stewardship, "We're Equipped to Share," for the morning sermon. Her message was powerful and thoughtfully developed on today's scripture with Jeremiah 31:31-34, 2 Timothy 3:14-4:5 and the Luke 18:1-8 being the focus.

Carol Demarest gave a short message on the importance of Financial Stewardship and how important this congregation is to the sustenance she needs to do God's work, important enough to help pay the bills.

As the Sacred Messengers sang during the offertory, you can see a new usher in their midst. Pastor Kowar enjoys the opportunity to gather along with the Salvati/Stevens family the Sunday offering.
