MRS. BLANCHE CONNER HENSON

APRIL 26, 1927 -- MARCH 17, 2007

          Mrs. Blanche Conner Henson, age 79, of Griffin, passed away on Saturday, March 17, 2007, at Spalding Regional Medical Center.

          Mrs. Henson was born in Spalding County on April 26, 1927, to the late Worthy Eugene Conner and the late Lois Underwood Conner.  Mrs. Henson was also preceded in death by her sister, Carolyn Lawson.  She was employed at United Cotton Goods before her retirement.  Mrs. Henson was a member of Highland United Methodist Church.

          Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Horace Henson; daughter and son-in-law, Janie and Rickey Storey of Griffin; nieces and their husbands, Sally and Joel O'Quinn of Griffin, and Beck and Brown Goodin of Pensacola, Florida; several cousins.

          Graveside services for Mrs. Blanche Henson were conducted on Monday, March 19, 2007, at 2 p.m. in Oak Hill Cemetery.  The Rev. Herb Flanders officiated.

          Conner-Westbury Funeral Home, 1891 West McIntosh Road, Griffin, was in charge of the arrangements.
