Our church is easy to find. We’re less than 0.5 miles from the junction of NY State Routes 17 and 14, and just a short drive from area motels, restaurants, and shopping centers. Visitors are always warmly welcomed!

From the North:
Take State Route 14 south to the Village of Horseheads. Turn right at the traffic light immediately after Bethany/Appleridge retirement complex, still following Route 14, also called Westinghouse Road. Travel approximately 1.3 miles to
W. Broad Street (3rd light). Turn right onto W. Broad Street and travel 3/10th mile to First United Methodist Church. Look for the sign on right side. Turn right into church driveway, park around backside and enter the main entrance back there.

From the South:
Take State Route 14 north to the Village of Horseheads. Approaching the junction of Route 14 & NYS Route 17, stay in the center lane (Holiday Inn on the right, Friendly’s Restaurant on the left). Use left lane after the light. Turn left at the next light, W. Broad Street (approximately 1/10th mile from intersection of Routes 14 & 17). Travel 3/10th mile to First United Methodist Church. Look for the sign on right side. Turn right into church driveway, park around backside and enter the main entrance back there.

From the West:
Take NYS Route 17-East (future Interstate 86) to Horseheads.
Take Exit 52 (Sign: Route 14 – Watkins Glen, Elmira Heights).
At the end of the ramp, turn left onto Route 14-North (Westinghouse Road). Stay in the left lane. Turn left at the next light, W. Broad Street (approximately 1/10th mile from intersection of Routes 14 & 17). Travel 3/10th mile to First United Methodist Church. Look for the sign on right side. Turn right into church driveway, park around backside and enter the main entrance back there.

From the East:
Take NYS Route 17-West (future Interstate 86) to Horseheads.
Take Exit 52-N (Sign: Route 14 – Watkins Glen). At the bottom of the ramp, turn left, and travel a short distance. Then bear right onto Route 14, and immediately move to the left lane. Turn left at the next light, W. Broad Street (approximately 1/10th mile from intersection of Routes 14 & 17). Travel 3/10th mile to First United Methodist Church. Look for the sign on right side. Turn right into church driveway, park around backside and enter the main entrance back there.

From Ithaca:
Take NYS Route 13-South. At the end, it merges onto NYS Route 17.

From the Mall area:
Take Colonial Drive (behind the mall) east towards Horseheads for about 1 mile.
At the “T” intersection, turn left onto Sing Sing Road. Travel approximately 700 feet. Turn right onto W. Broad Street, and travel about 800 feet to First United Methodist Church. Turn left into church driveway, park around backside and enter the main entrance back there.
