Also, please pray for Alex, nephew of Hansa Dayal, who has been suffering from Krones disease; for Esi Minor, who may have to undergo surgery for a cyst; for the sister of Barbara Norris; for Mary and Michael Davis the daughter and Son In Law of Dolly McDonough; for friend of Joe Tempesta Tony Maggio, whose mother went home to Jesus this week; for Linda and Barry Doland, both recovering from bronchitis; for Harold Randolph, who has a mass on his kidney that doctors are keeping an eye on.

Happy Birthday to Pat Thrall, (who turned 99 on March 20!) and to Jean Boardman.

Welcome back to services Ruth Hennessey, who was with us on on Easter with her son Paul and grandchildren, and was back again today. We were also blessed to welcome Sylvia Randolph, sister of Harold, to our church today.

Thanks again to all who supported the Tempesta family during Laura’s second hospitalization. Joe thanked God for his family’s safety from the terrible car accident they had on Easter Sunday, having been rear-ended on the way to Easter dinner. Liz has recovered fine from a bump on the head.

Our Holy week services were a wonderful celebration, we had a nice gathering for the Passover Seder on Maundy Thursday, and an emotional candlelit service on Good Friday, a great group of kids for the Egg Hunt on Saturday, and a full congregation for the Easter Sunday.

Thank you to the worship committee and leaders who worked so hard to put it all together!

A PASTOR'S CALLING CARD

A new pastor was visiting in the homes of his parishioners. At one house it seemed obvious that someone was at home, but no answer came to his repeated knocks at the door.

Therefore, he took out his business card and wrote "Revelation 3:20" on the back of it and stuck it in the door.

When the offering was processed the following Sunday, he found that his card had been returned. Added to it was this cryptic message, "Genesis 3:10."
Reaching for his Bible to check out the citation, he broke up in gales of laughter.

Revelation 3:20 begins "Behold, I stand at the door and knock."

Genesis 3:10 reads, "I heard your voice in the garden and I was afraid for I was naked."

"A cheerful heart is good medicine" (Prov. 17:22)
