HANG ON TO YOUR LIFE PRESERVER!!

Grab your sunglasses and beach towels and get ready for some splashing fun at our Take the Plunge VBS!  Each day we'll plunge into the Word and learn how Jesus used the very common element of water to teach some ver uncommon lessons.

As we soak up the Word, we'll plunge into obedience, plunge into worship, plunge into courage, plunge into faith and plunge into service.

The twisting and turning of this splash-making adventure will begin each day at 6:30pm and end at 8:30pm, June 18-22 at Brown Street Church, 905 Brown Street.

Everyone between the ages of 3 years and high school is invited. Enroll now by calling our church office at 742-1316. Each child who registers will receive a free DC of the songs we will be singing this year at Bible School. Register early and get a head start on learning them!

This year we will be taking an offering to be given to Habitat for Humanity. Each night we'll count our offering and watch our friend J.P. Penguin climb the steps of the water slide. Let's see how many times we can send him down the slide!

So grab your sun block and your beach chair and prepare to dive into the excitement!



SPECIAL NOTES FOR VBS
In order for things to run smoothly throughout the week, we will need your cooperation in the following areas:

1.  Upon arrival the first night please go to the registration table at the back of the sanctuary. There you will find out which class your child is assigned to and where he/she will meet each evening. If you bring an unregistered guest with you, fill out a registration form for them at this table.

2.  Please pick up your child at 8:30 each evening at the same location. Staff members will be available to help you find your child if needed. We are doing it this way for the safety of the children.

3.  Clothing. Please dress your children in play clothes. We will be outside all or part of each evening (weather permitting). If you think your child will need it, send a jacket or sweater. (Preschool will be indoors.)

4.  Please share the Vacation Bible School experience daily with your child. They will be anxious to tell you about it.

All children age 3 through high school are encouraged to attend. Friends, neighbors and relatives are welcome! Please register as soon as possible so that we can be sure to have enough materials for everyone.
