ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL
Sunday morning is the central focus of the Christian Education program
at FUMC. There are several adult classes offered at 10:00 -
10:45 a.m. New members are always welcome. The classes have
a stable constituency; however, persons may choose a class depending on
the topic being covered. Classes available include:

Description |
| Pairs and Spares Class |
You will find single and married men and women from their 20-s on up
in this class. They study the Bible chapter by chapter. The
methods used are a combination of things but mostly discussion. The
friendship and closeness that this class shares is what makes it unique.
It is located in the Annex building. |
| Seekers |
It is located in the Annex building. |
| Charlie Green Class |
Women and men from the 30+ age range make up this class. They
study a diverse curriculum from current events and issues to other topical
studies. Their major teaching method is discussion. It is located
on the lower level of the Education Building |
| John Holland Class |
This class is composed of women and men 50+ who seek to relate the
Biblical stories to their own lives. Currently, they are using the
"Journey through the Bible" curriculum and have a mixture of discussion
and lecture. Several individuals in this class share the teaching
responsibility. It is located in the Annex building. |
| Live Wire Wesley Class |
A mature women's class most of whom are over 60. They are currently
using the "Adult Bible Study" series and the teaching methods are lecture
and discussion. They describe themselves as being very dedicated
and have a relaxing fellowship. It is located on the 2nd floor of
the Education Building. |
| Wallace White Class |
This class consists of men who are over 50. They use "Adult Bible
Study" series and lecture and discussion are the main teaching methods.
The teachers rotate teaching responsibilities. It is located in the
Sanctuary classroom. |
COLLEGE STUDENTS
College students are welcome in any ongoing group, class, vocal or
bell choir, or ministry
LIBRARY

The church library is located next to the Office in the lower level.
There is a variety of books and magazines available for check out.
The library is open Sunday mornings and during weekdays.
HABITAT FOR HUMANITY
-
We encourage persons of the church to become involved with personal service.
An affiliate of the International organization, Volunteers
are needed for administrative and construction committees. Contact
Habitat for more information at .
MUSIC PROGRAMS
Vocal Choirs:
Chancel Choir
(Wednesday - 7:00-8:00 p.m. - Choir Room - Lynn Glasco, director
The Chancel Choir is looking for --just those who like to sing and are
willing to give their time in rehearsal on Wednesday evenings from 7:00
- 8:00 p.m. and on Sunday mornings usually for one worship service.
A wide variety of anthems are performed. These include acapella as
well as more contemporary choir literature. Other activities include
a social time after rehearsal the first Wednesday of each month.
UNITED METHODIST WOMEN
UNITED METHODIST MEN
UMM is an organization of men whose purpose is to know God, to develop
a supportive fellowship by facilitating the programs of the church whenever
possible, and to participate locally as well as in the global mission of
the church. If interested in joining please call the church office for
